Bragg Gaming Group Gets Ontario License

More good news for Bragg Gaming Group is coming this week as gaming technology and content providers are allowed to operate in Ontario’s new iGaming market. On March 8, 2022, the company said it has now joined several other gaming brands that have received iGaming licenses from the Ontario Alcohol and Gaming Commission.

The launch of the iGaming and Sports Betting Market for private operators in the province is scheduled for April 4, 2022. And so far, the province has attracted a lot of attention from game brands who want to join the regime and offer their products online. AGCO, the market’s regulator, also approved the World Series of Poker, Pointbet, Competition, The Score, and 888.

The license allows Bragg Gaming Group to provide iGaming and sports betting operators with a player account management platform, also known as PAM. We will also provide iGaming content and management services when the market starts this spring. Game titles will be available from in-house studios and third-party partners.

Ontario is the first Canadian jurisdiction to launch an open iGaming and sports betting market. The co-value of Canada’s iGaming and sports betting markets will be around $2 billion in 2022 alone, according to estimates by H2 Gaming Capital. Ontario is expected to quickly establish itself as one of the largest iGaming markets on the continent.

Chris Looney, chief commercial officer at Bragg Gaming Group, said the license was a tremendous achievement for the supplier. Following the recent launch of a local partner brand for PAM, content and products with the UK, Bragg Gaming Group says it is now ready to fully support its Canadian partners.

He went on to say, “I think there is potential in the market for providers to showcase technology and content because it is a region where the attention of U.S. and global game partners is focused.”

Recently, Bragg Gaming Group announced that its subsidiary ORYX Gaming has further developed its relationship with 888casino. The two companies have signed a new agreement to allow game providers to launch premium game content with casino operators in Spain. The deal will also allow Bragg Gaming to integrate content from its in-house studio Atomic Slot Lab and its latest partner, Blue Guru.

It is also worth mentioning that Bragg Gaming Group will join partner 888 in Ontario’s new regulated gambling market. Bragg Gaming Group was approved by AGCO last week and announced it could legally offer its products online to Ontarians when the market begins in April this year. This includes casino, sports betting and poker services.
