Ulsan will host Gimcheon Sangmu in the 12th round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2024 at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Munsu Soccer Stadium.

Ulsan currently sits in second place with 23 points from 10 matches with seven wins, two draws and one loss. They will host third-place Gimcheon (21 points) in search of three points.

Ulsan started the month with a 3-0 win over Suwon FC on May 6, followed by consecutive wins over Gangwon FC (4-0) and Jeju United (3-1). The team has been in good form since the start of May. The team has won five straight away games against Daegu FC (2-1) on May 1 and FC Seoul (1-0) on May 4. Hungarian bomber Martin Adam roars on.

He scored the game-winner against Seoul with a neat left-footed finish from Ataru’s penalty in second-half stoppage time. It was his first goal in 48 days since March 17 at home against Incheon United (3-3). Adam has three league goals this season, tied with Lee Min-kyu (three goals, two assists), as his goal-scoring form is slowly starting to catch fire.

Cho Hyun-woo “Lightning” Jo Hyun-woo had another stellar performance. He saved all six of Seoul’s shots on target (nine total), most notably a deflected shot by Seoul’s Lee Seung-joon in the 25th minute, a header by Kang Sung-jin from the ensuing corner kick, and an animalistic reflex save from Lee’s baptism of fire. The clean sheet was as valuable as the goals, proving he is Korea’s best goalkeeper. He has kept four clean sheets in a row (Pohang Steelers, Suwon, Gangwon, and Seoul) despite a lack of defensive organization at the start of the season.

Ulsan secured a 3-2 win against Gimcheon on March 9 thanks to back-to-back goals from Lee Dong-kyung (2 goals-1 assist) and Jang Si-young. This is the second meeting between the two sides. Lee Dong-kyung, who scored in a spectacular finale against Jeju United on March 28, joined the army training center a day later for basic military training. Ulsan will face Gimcheon without Lee Dong-kyung, who has yet to join Gimcheon due to his military training, 온라인 슬롯 but Won Doo-jae and Kim Min-joon, who will join Ulsan on July 15 after being discharged from the military, will make for an interesting matchup.
