Left-hander Lee Seung-min and right-handed outfield prospect Kim Jae-hyuk, who showed promise as alternate starters before enlisting, have returned safely from military service.

Lee Seung-min and Kim Jae-hyuk, who were members of the Armed Forces Athletic Corps (Commerce), have been ordered to complete their military service as of November 1, 2023.

Lee enlisted on May 2 last year and returned to the Samsung Lions after fulfilling his military obligations.

Seung-min Lee began his professional career in 2020 after graduating from Daegu High School, where he was selected in the fourth round of the second round by Samsung.

In 20 games for the first team, he has a 2-7 record with a 7.35 ERA. Although his numbers don’t stand out, 먹튀검증 he is considered a fearless pitcher who can throw his stuff.

On October 18, 2020, he recorded his first win against Hanwha, giving up three runs on eight hits (one home run) in 5⅔ innings with three walks and three strikeouts.

on April 8, 2021, against Doosan, shutting down the opposition with six scoreless innings (one hit, two walks, two strikeouts).

He has been a mainstay in the Commerce starting rotation this season, posting a 9-5 record with a 3.07 ERA in 20 appearances.

He is expected to be used in the first team next year.

Lee said, “Thanks to my good teammates, I learned a lot and enjoyed my military life. I am very grateful to the fans who supported me, and I will work hard and do well on the baseball field as a member of Samsung, not as a businessman,” he said.

Kim Jae-hyuk, an outfielder from Jeju High and Dong-A University, made his professional debut last year.

In 15 appearances for the first team, he batted 2-for-4 with two doubles (8-for-33), three RBIs, five runs scored, and four stolen bases.

After joining the Commerce in the middle of his first professional season, he batted 2-for-6 with seven doubles, two home runs, 16 RBI, 26 runs scored and six stolen bases in 116 at-bats in the Futures League this season.

After his discharge, Kim Jae-hyuk said, “I had a fun and happy military life thanks to all the people who sweated with me and supported me. Thank you for creating unforgettable memories.” Meanwhile, Lee Seung-min and Kim Jae-hyuk joined the finalization camp in Okinawa, Japan on the 2nd.
