South Korean striker Cho Kyu-sung scored one goal and assisted one for his team in a win against Mittwilan

South Korea national soccer team forward Cho Kyu-sung (Mittwillan) scored his fifth goal of the season and second in as many games to lead his club to victory.

He scored in a 2-1 home win over Odense BK in the ninth round of the 2023-2024 Danish Superliga at the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark, on Friday (Sept. 25).

Reggae hairstylist Cho Kyu-sung played up front on the day and opened the scoring in the sixth minute of the second half. Cho stepped up to take the penalty kick, which was awarded after a handball foul by the opponent.

However, the lead was short-lived as Mittwillan conceded two minutes later.

What looked like a draw ended up being a win for Meatwillan in late stoppage time as teammate Chárez headed home a pass from Cho Kyu-sung for a dramatic winner.

With one goal and one assist in the full match, Cho increased his tally to five goals and two assists this season. It was his second goal in as many games, following his goal against Viborg on Sept. 16.

After the match, European soccer statistics site Sofascore gave Cho a rating of 7.8, the highest for both teams.
