KB announced on the 8th that it has renewed its contract with head coach Kim.

The contract is two years long, and the two sides have agreed not to disclose details, the club said.

Head coaches Jin Kyung-seok and Oh Jung-hyun also agreed to renew their contracts.

Coach Kim, who took the helm of KB in April 2021, led the “treble” of winning the Park Shin-ja Cup, the regular league and the championship game for the first time in women’s basketball in the 2021-2022 season, his first season in office.

The club evaluated, “Coach Kim failed to win the integrated title in the 2023-2024 season, but won the regular league by winning all home games, and won the Futures League by drawing out the potential of young players.”

Coach Kim said, “We will repay our fans with stronger KB Stars.”

KB will convene its squad on June 3 to begin the new season.
