Younger brother Heo Hoon laughs first…KT wins 4th straight in old stomping grounds over KCC

Of the two sons of “Basketball President” Heo Jae, younger brother Heo Hoon laughed and older brother Heo Woong cried.

Suwon KT traveled to their old stomping grounds in Busan to beat KCC for their fourth straight win.
KT won 85-71 against KCC in the second round of the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball Association (KBA) on Tuesday at Sajik Gymnasium in Busan.

The game attracted a lot of attention as it was the first away game in Busan this season for Katie, which used Busan as its home base until the 2020-2021 season.

It was also a “sibling derby” between Katie Heo-hoon (28), who recently returned to the team after serving in the military, and her brother, KLC Heo-hoon (30), who faced off on the court for the first time in a year and eight months.
For Katie, foreign player Paris Bass exploded for 33 points, 18 rebounds, and four assists on three three-pointers.

Heo Hoon also hit three three-pointers and helped his team win with 19 points and six assists.

‘King of Defense’ Moon Sung-gon also chipped in with 12 points and three rebounds, including two three-pointers.

For KC, Alize DeShawn Johnson (23 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists), Lee Ho-hyun (11 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists), and Heo Woong (14 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist) played well but were unable to close the gap in the final minutes. 온라인카지노
Katie maintained a single-digit lead in the first two quarters, staying close to KCC.

But in the third quarter, Katie pulled away, extending her lead to more than 10 points.

Heo Hoon, who was somewhat reserved in the second quarter, hit a three-pointer from the outside at the start of the third quarter and then exploded for two more.

He scored 14 points in the third quarter alone, dominating the court.

Heo continued her dominance in the fourth quarter, hitting a layup with just over a minute to play to seal the win.
With the win, Katie improved to 10-5 and moved into a tie for second place with Changwon Elgee (LG), who defeated Seoul Eskay (SK) 87-73 on the same day.

KC remained in eighth place with a 4-8 record.
