Korean Air men’s volleyball earned three points in a tough match thanks to the return of foreign player Lincoln Williams (registered name Lincoln).
Korean Air swept OK Financial Group 3-0 (25-20 25-17 25-18) in straight sets in the men’s visiting match of the Professional Volleyball Dodram 2023-2024 V-League at Sangryoksu Gymnasium in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, on Nov. 22.
Korean Air, which took a break from its winning streak after a 1-3 loss against KEPCO on Sept. 18, moved into a 22-point tie with league leader Woori Card with the sweep.
Korean Air is 7-3 and Woori Card is 8-1, with Korean Air trailing in the standings.
Korean Air apogee spiker Lincoln made his first start in six games and finished with a team-high 16 points.
It was his highest point total since last month’s game against Woori Card (23 points).
Lincoln, who was relegated to the bench due to not being fully fit, showed signs of returning to form in the last match against KEPCO, hitting four consecutive service aces.
