Ontario, despite many operators, has recently shown a firm commitment to fine BetMGM and PointsBet Canada. These sanctions relate to allegations of advertising and induction of provincial protocol violations. BetMGM was fined CA$48,000 for violating Standard 2.04 and 2.05, and PointBet was CA$30 for violating Standard 2.05.
