Bragg Gaming Powerset 365 Content Launched in Ontario

Lara Falzon, the supplier’s president and CEO, said the company is excited to partner with one of the leading names in Ontario: a well-known brand, to launch content for its local customer base. She believes this integration is the first step in a promising relationship for the introduction of vendor-exclusive, proprietary third-party content in the new market.

In addition, a spokesperson for bet365 said that operators are fairly aware of the high-quality content that iGaming providers bring to the site. They said brands are eager to engage providers and integrate them into best-in-class gaming content partners in one of the most competitive and exciting markets in North America.

This was a historic week for bet365 in Ontario, as in addition to the Bragg Gaming Group collaboration, the operator started offering betting on horse racing. With Woodbine Entertainment Group, the sportsbook now offers the former’s Paris mutual bet on horseback riding. It became the first private sports betting platform to adopt it.

The launch was highly anticipated and is expected to be followed by more third-party operators in the state’s regulated iGaming market. It was possible after the federal government legalized single-event betting in August 2021, setting the stage for the launch of Ontario’s online gambling market, where operators are licensed to operate.

This is not the first time the gaming platform has signed a deal to strengthen its services in Ontario. In May 2023, it partnered with Pragmatic Play, a leading online casino title provider. Through this collaboration, the latter debuted live casino verticals, including newly released games such as Sweet Bonanza CandyLand and Power Up Roulette.
