Creamer and Lincicome appointed as vice captains of this year’s Solheim Cup U.S. golf team

Paula Creamer and Brittany Lincicome were appointed as vice captains of the U.S. team at this year’s Solheim Cup golf tournament.

Stacey Lewis, head of the U.S. national team, announced on the 21st, “We have appointed Creamer, Lincicome, Morgan Pressle, and Angela Stanford as vice captains for this year’s Solheim Cup.”

The Solheim Cup is a women’s golf competition between the United States and Europe that is held every two years.

This year’s tournament will be held in September at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.

Lewis served as the U.S. national team captain for the second consecutive time, and Pressl and Stanford also led the U.S. national team as vice captains for the second consecutive time.

Creamer and Lincicome were appointed as Solheim Cup vice-captains for the first time.

Creamer has 10 wins on the LPGA Tour and is the 2010 U.S. Women’s Open champion.Lincicome also recorded eight wins on the LPGA tour, including two major wins.
